Join us in the MOVE430 Challenge and help give kids across BC the chance to experience the joy of sports! By participating, you'll not only be improving your own health and fitness, but you'll also be supporting KidSport's mission to break down financial barriers and ensure that all kids aged 18 and under can play a season of sport.
Did you know that one in three Canadian kids can't afford to participate in organized sports? That's why KidSport exists. Through their confidential application process, they provide grants to help cover the cost of sport registration fees for kids in need, particularly those from marginalized or remote communities.
This year, we're excited to add the option to donate or fundraise for KidSport through the MOVE430 Challenge. So far, we've raised over $4,000 for KidSport chapters across the province! Whether you choose to donate online or create your own fundraising page to ask for support from friends and family, every dollar makes a difference.
By joining the MOVE430 Challenge and supporting KidSport, you'll be making a tangible impact on the lives of young people in your community. The skills kids learn through sports are carried with them throughout their lives, but 1 in 3 kids are being left on the sidelines because they don't have the resources to play. KidSport helps remove those financial barriers to participating #SoALLKidsCanPlay.
